I've changed the keyword of a radical just for it to come back on me
I didn't feel like I can connect to the "Fiesta" radical, and it's an arrow + a drop so I associated it with "spear" (I also saw other people doing this in stories, so I went for it).

Now, almost 1000 kanji later (yay for me Big Grin), I get to the real "Spear" radical.
So, what should I do? rename the current spear to something else, or the old spear? or use two spears?
Also, if anyone have keyword recommendations I would love it. Thought about switching it for another long reach melee weapon (lance maybe?).

Just using two spears shoud be fine, there were also some primitives that ive used two times(Pinocchio for example). If you did reviews everyday, you shouldnt mistake the old and new spear, but the problem is - fiesta appears in some new kanji later - so maybe in this case it's better to change the spear primitive, which doesnt appears later anymore.

That should work. Or imagine a different kind of spear, depending on what kind of spears you imagined for fiesta. There's a difference between an improvised jungle-ish kind of spear like in Tarzan, and more modern, sturdier and decorated kind of spears. Maybe you could imagine a Chinese martial arts kind of spear or something. As long as you feel that the images you imagine are clearly distinguishable from each other.

You could use a javelin. It's close enough to a spear but different enough to keep them apart.

I did that at first too. As I went through, it got changed as needed, and then I finally finalized it.

I changed it to spear, dagger, halberd, etc. but they conflicted or didn't stick.

Now, I just use "weapon" and it hasn't given me any conflicts.
