Kitsunekko down, japanese anime subtitles - burble483 - 2012-07-11 Guys, you should have noticed that kitsunekko has a forum for 2 months already : http://forum.kitsunekko.net and then you would have known that some stupid leechers have overloaded the website, so kitsunekko has a temporary domain for now : http://t.kitsunekko.net/ It's the same website as before. The administrator is working on another version of the website in order to prevent these kind of problems in the future. If you missed some of the japanese anime subtitles uploaded while you thought the website was gone, download this : http://t.kitsunekko.net/subtitles/japanese/Japanese_Shounen_Shoujo_Seinen_Anime_Subtitles.rar It is a big archive of japanese subtitles for many popular shounen, shoujo and seinen animes. Also, about the idea of mirroring this website, I think it is indeed a good idea. Enjoy your japanese anime subtitles ! Kitsunekko down, japanese anime subtitles - kudokupo - 2012-07-12 Sorry this is off topic, but does anyone know why some subtitles are impossibly mistimed? I can't find one detective conan subtitle file that is timed properly at all. Will I just have to edit the timing myself? :/ Kitsunekko down, japanese anime subtitles - Zarxrax - 2012-07-12 kudokupo Wrote:Sorry this is off topic, but does anyone know why some subtitles are impossibly mistimed? Some of them may or may not have been edited to remove commercials, or perhaps one of them could have come from a different broadcast where something was slightly different... things like that. So they are not not likely going to be for any video source you download, which has it's commercials cut out. Anyway re-timing is generally very easy to do. Just grab Aegisub, time from the beginning of the episode and shift the entire script. Then if look you might find 60 to 90 second gaps in the middle, that's a commercial which your video source likely doesn't have, just shift "backwards" from "selection forward" the right amount of time for each episode. An entire series should have the same length commercials, usually in about the same time area. So it gets easier as you go along. Kitsunekko down, japanese anime subtitles - kudokupo - 2012-07-12 Hmm you're right, I've tried to re-time stuff before but I never knew about shift forward and backward from selection forward. That is pretty easy. Will I just have to edit the timing myself? :/Most japanese closed captions come from the TV stations themselves, and their timings include the presence of ads so they will never be timed for an encoded raw without ads. Some TV stations are even more messed up than others, for example, a timing for a japanese subtitle can start at 14:52:02, when for a normal TV station, it should be like 0:03:02 . Anyway, you will always have to re-time the subtitles manually... The important thing remains to be the japanese script itself. Kitsunekko down, japanese anime subtitles - kanon - 2012-07-23 A new version is back up! Apparently it's now sorted by anime group which is good. I've also just dumped some stuff I scraped from kamigami, including subs extracted from their releases and retimed to a western fansub release. Particularly, every single Ghibli movie should now have subs. Stuff like UN-GO and Shiki were also reuploaded cuz the original CC from TS were really really terribly timed. It's not exactly intuitive finding stuff on kamigami forum even if you know Chinese, plus you have to login everyday to earn enough virtual coins for downloading stuff. Maybe it'll be worthwhile if we could start some sort of project of downloading their releases, extract the subs, time it to a western release, and reuploading it to kitsunekko. Since they do about 4 anime per season, this could be significant. Kitsunekko down, japanese anime subtitles - cb4960 - 2012-07-23 One nice thing about the new kitsunekko site is that there is a link to download all of the subtitles in a single (large) .rar file. Kitsunekko down, japanese anime subtitles - dtcamero - 2012-07-23 wow i haven't checked them out in a while...they have a ton of new stuff! |
