A list of jōyō kanji lookalikes - lauri_ranta - 2012-06-30
The list only includes 2010 jōyō kanji. The keywords are from the sixth edition of RTK1 and the third edition of RTK3. The lines are in random order. I excluded most pairs characters that were already included in the kanji decomposition list. The list is released in the public domain.

I know others outside the RTK community down the method (not as bad as 4 years ago though), but looking at that list and easily discerning the differences is still a nice rush. Thanks for making it.

Thanks for making it.Right. It's nice to be reminded that I actually confused many of these at some point, but now they all look completely different to me. Well not completely... I confused 構 and 横 the other day when writing. I actually still sometimes write the wrong kanji in a compound word, but I virtually never confuse a kanji when reading.
