Some of my stories are disappearing. - stan_in_japan - 2012-04-18 Using the site today for the first time in a couple of weeks (I know that is bad)...I find that about 10 percent of my stories are just...gone. Anyone else had this? Were you able to recover them? Thanks. Some of my stories are disappearing. - ファブリス - 2012-04-18 Gone from your memory? If you forgot just one in ten stories of new characters you didn't review in two weeks that would be pretty good. Some of my stories are disappearing. - Norman - 2012-04-18 I don't think Stan is talking about his stories being "gone" from memory, but perhaps "gone" from the list of shared stories. I recognize his user name from many of the shared stories that he has contributed recently, many of which are of exteme high quality. Stan, the stories that everyone contributes are only on top of the list in the "recently shared stories" section for a short while, a week or so. After that, they are dropped down in the list, most often in the order of stars received. Anyway, I will have to give a big thanks to Stan for his help. I have used many of his stories and I have given him quite a few stars. Some of my stories are disappearing. - stan_in_japan - 2012-04-19 Hi guys thanks for responding. I was unclear I guess. By "gone" I mean this: When I use "show all my stories" option, or the "review flashcards" option, some of my stories appear not to have been saved at all. I know I have saved them, as I have very vivid memories of both the stories and the experience of trying to come up with them. The stories are not (apparently) stored in the website's server. Thanks. |
