SO I ordered from Yesasia a originally Japanese manga..but I was stupid enough to not check wether it was translated into Mandarin Chinese or not.

Now i have 5 volumes of Manga in a language I do not know and I can't use them to learn Japanese from .

On top of that I can't return them >_> there goes my 30 bucks.

Unless someone can see the positive side of this please tell me so .

Maybe you can swap them with a Chinese learner who already has them in Japanese (which could happen on this board). What's the title?

Nichijou by Keiichi Arawi

Don't feel stupid - I almost did the exact same thing. I was so excited to find Nichijou for a good price on that site, and then at the very last moment noticed that it was in 'Traditional Chinese'. Maybe you can sell them on ebay?

Or maybe sell them online or something. I accidentally ordered an English translated volume of K-on once because I didn't realize the Japanese title was spelt けいおん, and I thought since it was the Japanese Amazon it would definitely be in Japanese. Been reading the product information carefully since then.

Come to think of it I still have it. Should throw it away.

I doubt chinese Manga will sell so well on an english site.

I did the same thing too, don't worry. I have a copy of the first volume of Soul Eater in Chinese sitting around collecting dust. I figure I'll eventually run into someone learning Chinese that would be interested.

You could sell them on craigslist or ebay. Someone on these forums might want them too.

That doesn't exactly help if you like your books legal and printed on paper.

Ah, I almost made the same mistake with amazon.jp. Dangit. Don't sneak 英語 manga in there! >_<

To the OP: if there's a uni nearby with an Asian Studies dept., go look for bulletin boards and advertise. (Analog-style!)
