Simple sentence translation - matrixofdynamism - 2012-03-16 How to ask someone "what made you choose English language as a major at university" in Japanese? I am having difficulty with the "What made you..." part, can't figure out how to translate it. Also, how would I say "What >inspired you< to choose English language as a major at university"? Is there some general way to make statement like "What made you eat...", "What made you think...", "What made you laugh" e.t.c? Besides this I have these 2 other sentences: "From the profile I find that you are interested in japanese" And "I am sure you know about this face already" How do I translate the "I find that you are" in the first sentence and "I am sure" in the sencond sentece. I am just being held down by such simple phrases. Simple sentence translation - Iryoku - 2012-03-16 .
