Are they different parts of a whole series that covers everything from basic to advanced Japanese grammar (like you would expect from the titles) or are they just different editions each volume covering everything from the previous one?. I would then reccomend mastering the anki for both books and then mastering the 8547 Anki deck. I would then go to reading everything you can. I am not going to post any more patents on here until my Japanese grammar is any way near where I want it. Pages 612-618 of Makino and Tsutsui's a dictionary of basic Japanese grammar and pages 55-77 of the intermediate are the best grammar explanations I have ever read and I can legally send them you if you want.
