There has to be something a little more vivid than "going" or "column" or "line" for this radical. I keep failing these cards because there's no real imagery associated with these words. I think I'm about to assign it some totally off the wall keyword (maybe the Energizer bunny- wow that's actually a good one), but before I do that, I wanted to put it out there and see if anybody else has been having the same problem.
I'm really starting to like the Energizer bunny idea though, he keeps going and going and going...

I finished RTK 1 a long time ago, but I have to agree that this was one of the least vivid primitives. I also don't understand why Heisig assigned three keywords to it -- all of them equally vague.

It's especially annoying because it's used so often in so many really common characters.

I made "column" more concrete by thinking of either Nelson's column (famous London landmark) or a column of ants. The latter in particular gave some vivid, easy-to-remember images.

for RTK I used superhero The Flash.
For RtH1 I used people standing in a queue / line.
Both worked out well.

I just imagined the Spartan Column from the movie 300. The visual is very strong for whatever story.
