2001 Kanji Odyssey sample sentences for part 3 (no. 1101 to 2001) - Green_Airplane - 2012-01-20 Hello, first of all, I apologize if this has already been answered. I've looked around for a while, I didn't find what I was looking for. After finishing RtK1 and 3, I decided to go for 2001 Kanji Odyssey to learn kanji readings and actual vocabulary. I must say it's amazing, for a simple reason - sample sentences. They provide context for the vocab, and unlike some other sets of sample sentences I've seen, these are very well made - they are practical sentences useful in real life, and the vocabulary builds on itself really well. I've even found an Anki deck with all the sample sentences, that someone took the trouble to make from the electronic materials accompanying the book. It could not be better, except... As those of you familiar with the book know, it contains 2001 kanji, but the sample sentences are supplied only for the first two parts of the book - up to kanji number 1110. I'm currently at kanji number 1010, so if I keep my pace, I'll run out of sample sentences in about 10 days. This is unfortunate, I'd really like to go all the way to kanji number 2001, or even beyond that, to encompass all the 3007 kanji from RtK1 through 3. I'm sure some of you make your own vocab lists, even sample sentence lists. If anyone has a list of sample sentences for 2001 Kanji Odyssey Part 3, in a style similar to what parts 1 and 2 already have, I'd really appreciate it if you could share it with me. I'd prefer an Anki deck, or some format that could be easily converted into an Anki deck. Thank you in advance. PS: I've decided to go with 2001 Kanji Odyssay after reading this gentleman's blog entry http://www.stupidamericantourist.com/?p=99 In the blog post he mentions he made his own lists of sample sentences. But the blog seems to have been abandoned for some time now, and I haven't been able to contact him. Perhaps someone here knows him? Any help would be appreciated. PS2: I peeked at the end of part 2 and realized it actually ends with kanji no. 1110, not 1100. I've edited the post, but it seems I can't edit the title. |
