Tokyo FM outside Japan - thurd - 2012-01-15 Does anyone here know how to get Tokyo FM (80.0Hz) to work outside Japan? I'm not interested in "maybe", "have you tried", "should work" but rather a tried and proved method used by a fellow forum member. I've tried a lot of streams, programs, radio aggregates etc. and nothing worked, most of them point to their official stream anyway so its like running in circles. I'm slowly thinking about buying a proxy in Japan but maybe somebody here found an easier & cheaper solution. Tokyo FM outside Japan - mottles - 2012-01-16 Keyhole TV has it. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/KeyHoleTV Download: http://www.v2p.jp/video/Viewer/Windows/ Tokyo FM outside Japan - frony0 - 2012-01-16 mottles Wrote:Keyhole TV has it.Not always, it hasn't been there for a while; it's not exactly a "tried and proved" method (it depends on peer broadcasters, if I remember right...) But I guess that's for thurd to decide. Tokyo FM outside Japan - Tefhel - 2012-01-16 I just pay $4 for a proxy. Way easier, saves so much time from trying to find free proxies that will work etc. Tokyo FM outside Japan - rich_f - 2012-01-16 What proxy service do you use, and how satisfied are you with it? I've seen lots of services out there, but it's hard to tell which are good/bad. Tokyo FM outside Japan - thurd - 2012-01-17 frony0 Wrote:Yeah, that's a problem. I tried Keyhole a few times (never found Tokyo FM though) but I just can't stand it, too unreliable and has horrible quality.mottles Wrote:Keyhole TV has it.Not always, it hasn't been there for a while; it's not exactly a "tried and proved" method (it depends on peer broadcasters, if I remember right...) From what I've gathered there is just no other option than proxy but VPN would be even better for this, I could even use it on my phone and listen from radiko app. Sucks that my current shell account doesn't provide Japanese VPN ![]() I'll look around and post back what I've found. |
