RTK to Anki - cactus - 2012-01-09 Hello everybody! Quick question for you guys. I've used for a while an RTK deck on Anki. Then I stopped studying for a while, and now I forgot most stories. I didn't bother putting my RTK stories on the deck at first, but now I can't remember them and putting them manually is a royal pain. Any idea or quick method to solve this? Thanks for the help. RTK to Anki - vix86 - 2012-01-09 No. Write them in. Only solution would be to find someone else that made stories and uploaded a deck, but then what use would that deck be. They aren't your stories. RTK to Anki - cactus - 2012-01-12 I remember I saw long time ago a method where RevtheKanji could produce a .txt with your stories, and then you could put them in Anki. So no quicker way to input them then manually at all? :รง RTK to Anki - EratiK - 2012-01-12 Yes, but were your stories in RevTK in the first place? Re-reading all the shared stories to pick one up times 2000 could be a pain too. Anyway, here are the threads you asked for: http://forum.koohii.com/search.php?search_id=1262774378 RTK to Anki - SomeCallMeChris - 2012-01-12 The deck I use is set up so that each keyword on the front side is a link to the story on kanji.koohii.com ; it wouldn't be hard to add that to any other deck, I think. But, of course, this still doesn't put the stories on koohii in the first place. RTK to Anki - cactus - 2012-01-12 they were 95% stories made by others. I'll look up the link, thanks buddy RTK to Anki - dtcamero - 2012-01-12 In all seriousness, ADMIN THIS THREAD (or another identical to it) NEEDS A STICKY... this question gets asked so often it is rediculous: Short Answer: -There is no good way to do it... -There are anki decks where the fields link to the RTK site -Stop using this site, switch to said anki deck, and when you encounter a character for which you need your story, click the link, copy, and paste into your card. -For the vast majority of your cards you will not need to do this. We are only talking about a few hundred cards here. -Learning kanji constitutes the first 1% of the job of acquiring Japanese language ability so don't spend too much time thinking about it. Just get it done and move on as quickly as possible [/rant] |
