Hey
If anyone who is good at reading japanese is bored... I need some help finding a restaurant in Naha City (Okinawa) serving FUGU 河豚.
If I will die, my family won't blame you.
I got this far only:

Meanwhile I will go and ask a sushi chef at a small restaurant in Kokusai Dori.

yeah I did ask staff in front of 4 restaurants, it seems you cannot find in okinawa (or they don't know)

Are there any hotels where you could ask at reception? I don't think fugu should be too hard to find although I am not familiar with Okinawa.
I take it that you are eating this, not for reasons of gastronomy but because you want to have a fugu experience. I had fugu kaiseki and found the fish rather bland and rubbery, absolutely nothing to write home about. The restaurant was very picaresque though. And I still remember the meal so I wasn't all bad (Although a friend, who insisted we ate there, did stiff me with the bill, his mine and two bemused English men... Yikes.)
Off topic but am curious to know: How is the tattoo going? If you feel like telling us, maybe you could post an update in the original tattoo thread.
