Hello,
Does anyone know of anyone know of any good anki sentence decks (or vocab-focused decks with example sentences) with audio? I'm specifically looking for stuff that might have words beyond the scope of the core6k deck.
I thought I'd found this in the coreplus deck, but when I try to get the audio, I can't extract it for some reason. Also, it looked like a lot of the non-core words didn't have example sentences.

the audio isnt as good as core6k, which in my opinion is fantastic... the quality of 10k audio is lower, and the readers appear to be stringing the sounds out a bit to be more understandable... but that being said I think it's much better than plain sentences.
I also prefer it to subs2srs because those cards are often too difficult (slangy / slurred audio, sentence chunks that are too large, too much new vocab in one card etc). Not that they can't be done but it is simply more efficient to use smaller cards in the long run.
after core10k tho subs2srs is really the only option left for intermediate/advanced cards with audio... as far as I know of. forum members please feel free to correct me on this...

There are a few shared subs2srs decks on Anki--Spirited Away, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Sayounara Zetsubou-Sensei. I would definitely recommend using actual media after core6k because it's more entertaining and you'll pick up a ton of more obscure vocab. or idioms. Plus, you get to experience a whole plot in one deck so it's a little more cohesive than just random sentences.

Coreplus - only example sentences for the 6000 core words. I also recommend using the core 10k deck to get more sentences. You can start with it as a new deck or, it is not really that hard to import the new stuff into your existing anki deck. If the words already exist in your deck (eg. CorePlus) you can even import just the sentences and their audio into the existing cards, using the overwrite feature when importing into Anki - see Anki help/manual.
