Mac OS X Lion Kotoeri Caps-Lock - haplology - 2011-11-05
I always set up Mac computers so in the Kotoeri preferences it was set to do hiragana when caps-lock was pressed and romaji (English) when it was not. I just got a Lion computer, and now the only options seem to be Katakana when caps-lock is pressed, not hiragana. This makes no sense to me - anyone know how to set up Kotoeri in Mac OS Lion to work with the caps-lock key??

Never mind - finally figured it out through random clicking. If you set it to Use Romaji When Up, it automatically sets to Hiragana when pressed. Weird since the only options are whether to use Romaji or Katakana - but if you tell it to use Romaji when up, it sets to Hiragana when down. Hopefully that helps someone else.
