Help with Anki Kanji deck to learn faster? - dsesno - 2011-10-25 I have about 4000 kanji words that i have put on an Anki file. I have been doing about 500 words per day since August. As of last week there were still many words that were had not yet been reviewed in this deck. I just transferred the deck from my iphone to my PC (and then back) and seemed to have lost the statistics. I am now trying to accelerate my review progress and learn all the words that i havent learned yet. Is there a way that i can go through the words in this deck one by one and suspend the words that i know and then only study the ones that im not sure of? Also, as far as settings, can somone please tell me what are the best settings I should use in order to facilitate this goal the fastest? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance! Help with Anki Kanji deck to learn faster? - SomeCallMeChris - 2011-10-25 It should be as simple as going into 'browse items' for the deck and select the first however many items and clicking the 'suspend' button, assuming you sort them by the order they were entered, and were learning them in the order they were entered and not in random order. If you were learning them in random order, then you'll have to pick them out in the browse window. Help with Anki Kanji deck to learn faster? - netsplitter - 2011-10-26 If the issue is that you lost your progress, you might be able to get it back. Anki keeps regular backups of your decks. On Anki desktop: Settings>Preferences>Saving>Open backup folder. I don't know if the iPhone version keeps backups. My guess is that it doesn't since they can get quite large. |
