昔話の漫画 - shaydwyrm - 2007-10-10 When I was a kid, my mom used to introduce me to Indian folktales by buying me a comic book series that abridged and serialized them (Amar Chitra Katha, if anyone is familiar). It was a lot of fun then, and honestly, I still enjoy reading them once in a while when I don't feel like digging in and reading the whole story in book form. I'm wondering whether there's a manga series with a similar concept that anyone can recommend. I've seen plenty of 絵本 in bookstores that cover this material, but 1) those are all or mostly in kana, and 2) it would be great to see the stories covered at a slightly more mature level. Since I'm doing this more for fun than for study, I would prefer not to jump straight to novel form, since if I do that I'll probably only be able to manage about a story a month... 昔話の漫画 - JimmySeal - 2007-10-10 I know Genji has been done many times over in manga form. But that would most likely be pretty hard to read. |
