Question for Slime Forest players - Zgarbas - 2011-10-21 Hello, everyone . I was thinking about starting Slime Forest, but I have one problem with this. I played it back when I was a total newbie and the trial was ok for my level back then, but I don't know if the game is worth it at my current level. (still technically a newbie, but I'm around N3-ish level I guess). I figured this would be a good place to ask. So, is anyone playing the whole game? Is it still good once you get past the easy level? Question for Slime Forest players - bakuchiku - 2011-10-21 Hey. I'm at what I'd call an intermediate level (or my reading is at least), and I still play Slime Forest from time to time. In the full version there's game modes to study readings and words as well as the kanji, so there's plenty of stuff to do. It's not perfect, but as a fun alternative to a normal SRS I'd recommend it =) Question for Slime Forest players - Zgarbas - 2011-10-21 Thanks for the quick response! If you don't mind my asking another thing...do compounds show up or just regular stand-alones? Question for Slime Forest players - bakuchiku - 2011-10-22 Yeah, there's a seperate storyless trainer for kanji words (both singles and compounds) with english translations, and I think they appear in the main story mode as well. |
