Word frequency analysis tool? - ycomnougue - 2011-10-11 I'm looking for ways to simplify and accelerate my sentence mining / selection operations and I figured I'd ask all of you very intelligent and handsome people. I've been reading short novels online recently, and am looking for a tool that would tell me which words, that are not yet known to me, come up the most frequently in what I'm reading ( Web page, or digital text). Seems to me like it would be a great way to pick interesting and useful words/sentences to learn and to add to my sentence decks Does anyone know of a tool like that? Cheers and thanks Word frequency analysis tool? - ycomnougue - 2011-10-11 Seems an answer was already available elsewhere in the forums http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?pid=69302#pid69302 Are there other options available? Word frequency analysis tool? - Nagareboshi - 2011-10-11 I am using Wiredmarker for Firefox for websites, to quickly be able to tell, how much I know and don't know. Here is a little tutorial on my blog about how to use the automatic dictionary function in this tool. Then Yomichan Yomichan for texts. |
