If you don't know 小島よしお you might want to take a look at this tv clip. He's currently the "in" comedian/performer in Japan.
My take is that he is genuinely a funny guy even though his act revolves around his one catch phrase. One wonders whether he will develop his act and become a regular face on TV or disappear without a trace.

Kojima is basically the new hard gay. I remember watching some panel discussion show and one woman said something like "Poor guy, he'll be forgotten by New Year's..."
But just when I thought it was getting really old, I saw him as a special guest on a cooking show. It was so absurd, it was actually kind of amusing.

Is Hard Gay still around? I've always kind of liked it how transparent their entertainment machine is, shamelessly recycling ideas and keeping "idols" on a conveyor belt.
