question about Anki - theadamie - 2011-09-19

I downloaded "japanese core plus" and while using this I get one message that says "session complete" and if I keep going while ignoring these messages eventually I get a message that says "today's lesson complete" or something like that.

am I supposed to do this in several different sittings?
I've just been sitting down, going through cards till it says I've done all of my words for today then put it away till the next day.

Thanks for all the help!

"also I went through some of my old korean books and made 1400 cards based on words that I had forgotten >.< lol"

You can set the number of cards per day when you open up your deck.

Isn't it the time limit under 'Timeboxing'? It's set to 10 minutes by default.

It is. And if the message is "Session Limit Reached" with the bulb in the bottom-left corner of the screen, he should be able to continue regardless, unless he has run out of new cards for the day. The vague description the OP has given, points to the number of cards as the culprit. If the message was: "Congratulations! You have finished for now. At this time tomorrow: There will be 125 cards"

There is another setting the OP can change, that can be found under Settings / Deck Properties / "Per-day scheduling." The OP can review all day long because some cards will always be due.
