Adding media files to the Core 2000 deck - CallumReader - 2011-09-12 I've just downloaded the Core 2000 deck and it told me to download the media files separately and then add them to the deck. I found out how to add them but that method relies on me adding each media file individually and that would take forever and a day. Is there an easier way to just import all of the files in the folder and sync them with the cards? I'm assuming that they're going to be in the same order as the cards anyway. Same for the pictures. Adding media files to the Core 2000 deck - mcaruso - 2011-09-12 Anki looks for media files in a folder called "Core 2000 Japanese Vocabulary.media" (or whatever the name of your deck is), located in the same folder as the deck itself. If the .media folder isn't already there you can just create it. Then, just drag all the files there. All media files are referenced by their name in the cards, so the rest is automatic. EDIT: If you don't know the folder where Anki has stored your decks, it should be ~/Documents/Anki on Mac or C:\My Documents\anki (according to Google at least, might be outdated). All the media is already packaged into the deck, so you don't need to futz around with anything.
