Learning vocab - jkun666 - 2011-09-08 Hey guys, just a quick question from a beginner. When learning vocab, do I learn the kanji or just the hiragana? ie 見る or みる? Learning vocab - kainzero - 2011-09-08 you also need to know the sounds as well i met up with a japanese person and she said something like "この店は混んでいるね” i didn't recognize 混んでいる verbally, but after trying to clarify, i realized it was a word that i already knew if i saw it written down but wasn't used to hearing it. that was kinda embarrassing Learning vocab - Tori-kun - 2011-09-08 kainzero Wrote:you also need to know the sounds as wellOh, I forgot to add "sound", d).
