Hey does anyone know of any good grammar books I am really cost to finishing RTK and I wanted to by some good books that can help with grammar sentences. I want to try to get them in summer before I go off to school. Right now the only book I have is "An innovative approach to speaking and reading Japanese." by Gene nishi. The book is not bad just looking for some other books as well thank you for the help.


P.S. I all ready know about tae kim.

The best grammar books I've used are the Dictionary of Japanese Grammar series.

Sounds like you need an english grammar book too...


What is your intention with the grammar book anyway? Learning from scratch or learning from native material?

DOJG is necessary for the latter, for the former you could go with a number of things including UBJG, any catch-all textbook like Genki, or even JLPT N-level grammar study guides.
