Kanji Chains - Glacial - 2011-06-25

I've looked through the various methods for learning the readings, and kanji chains sounds like it will work best for me. However, I'm having trouble finding a list of readings to draw from as I create my chains. I have a copy of RtK2, but it seems to be ordered by some sort of signal primitive, and won't be very useful for chaining. Does anyone here have a spreadsheet (there seems to be a spreadsheet for everything here) or similar resource that lists all the readings with their kanji from RtK1?

It is possible, though not necessarily recommended to substitute a signal primitive (at least pure +/- semi-pure) for a group of kanjis in the chain or story. I've been doing pretty much that, and it leads to an increased risk of confusion but shorter lists which can be helpful especially for the larger groups.

Those charts looked familiar...I logged in, and sure enough, I'm the owner of these spreadsheets, updated 303 days ago!
I'm glad that they're being of use to someone.

I more or less did something similar about a year ago...made kanji chains by reading, starting with the most (ショウ) and worked my way down, but I sadly only got about 3 stories in before deciding it wasn't a good fit for me. Hopefully it works out better for you!
