Thanks for the shows. I've only downloaded one though as they're a bit on the heavy side. It would be amazing if you could use a codec like xvid or x264 to bring the file size down a bit.

Get this, the company who host my domain are telling me that I am breaking their terms of use.

This is due to the large amount of non-web content stored on your domain at \htdocs\tv.

This content seems to contain mainly large mp4 files, which totalled over 7GBs worth. As these type of files are not directly related to the display of a web page we have taken the decision to remove them from your site.
So I wrote back to ask them if there is actually a bona fide problem (or if they are just being "by the book" kind of guys).

Waiting for a response.

And a question for the web savvy, is there a real reason why I shouldn't be allowed to post this sort of stuff on my domain?

Aircawn is right, maybe uploading it on a free service like:

http://www.mediafire.com (this might be the best and it would not delete your file after some time, but you can only upload 100 MB files)

http://www.rapidshare.com

We could help to upload it on other services too, once we got it down, if you want?

I guess all web hosting companies have these kinds of conditions,
they wouldn't make money if everyone stored 10 Gig of files.

they mentioned this was "not directly related to the display of a web page". I would perhaps make a simple webpage with links to these videos? Perhaps that may work? It may be a stretch, espeically in light of 1.4.4, but if you have the movies inbedded in the page, maybe that will work. I must say 1.4.5 sucks. I will have to check the terms of use on my own webspace provider, I also use my space for backup of certain things.

I don't know if it has been posted here before, but I've been watching Densha Otoko (the train man!), a Japanese drama. I must make a quality recommendation on this series. Because the main character uses a computer through a good portion of each episode, there are many written sentences, most of them correlating to spoken dialogue. There are also many screen shots of cell phones. The story line isn't the best, even if based on a true story, but it's a great drama to learn from. The dialogue is also at a good volume for listening (some older dramas are a bit muffled, e.g. Long Vacation). You can download it off a torrent site.
