leechblock is a firefox plugin that does the same... should prob use it now actually :$

Difference is, you can't change the stuff you do with this after you decide. Even a restart or uninstall wont work.

leechblock works for me, it's easy enough for me to get round it by using safari, but when I turn it on I'm committing to working for x minutes, which is enough to keep me from getting distracted.

Damn it's such a good thing. I've been trying it out and it is so good for reading Japanese. Makes reading a pleasure and the font look beautiful.
