Grammar Cheat Sheet - any thoughts? - wonderflex - 2011-05-02 I am nearing the end of RTK and wondered if anybody had opinions on this grammar cheat sheet that I found: http://nihonshock.com/2010/02/japanese-cheat-sheet-2/ Any glaring errors, or would this be a handy companion to have with me as I make the journey into the next stage of things? Grammar Cheat Sheet - any thoughts? - Nagareboshi - 2011-05-02 As a supplement to grammar or textbooks they are great. I remember that back in school, our german teacher recommended us, to buy and use them. I can't comment on this one, but it looks pretty handy, and it's cheap. So i say buy it.

I figured it would be handy to have around compared to keeping all 190 or so pages of the Tae Kim guide nearby. Grammar Cheat Sheet - any thoughts? - iSoron - 2011-05-02 Looks very nice. Didn't find any glaring errors. Just nitpicking, though, "formal/informal" should really be "polite/non-polite", or something like that. Formality is about 「だ」vs 「である」, not about 「だ」vs「です」. It was correct in previous versions; I don't know why they had to change it. Also, 「くださる」 is honorific, not humble.
