All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - Tori-kun - 2011-05-14 bertoni Wrote:In order to update, you need to specify the field on which to match cards. The field that works is the 'meaning' field, which is mapped to field 2 in the file. You specify this in the pop-up that shows up when you hit 'update'.Hell, I just can click 'Import', nothing else when I open my AAP deck and want to update it with yours, bertoni! Or do I first have to export your deck file as .csv? If I do so, it only recognises two fields strangely (no "Note", no "Reading" field f.e., just "Meaning" and "Expression" -.-).. I tried \t separation and others. All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - bertoni - 2011-05-14 I don't think I'm going to be able to help you remotely with this problem. I'm using a Mac. If you're on a PC it might be a portability issue. The way I use the feature is I export the cards from the deck on which I've been working as tab-separated facts, and then use import to merge them into a new deck. I can keep two decks in sync that way, one with the proper Heisig RTK reading numbers, and one that has my progress status. You should be able to pick cards you want to update and export them the same way, but it might not work on your platform. All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - Tori-kun - 2011-05-15 Ok. So I will try this once more. All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - Tori-kun - 2011-05-17 Well, I somehow managed to keep my current progress and getting all the "Note" fields content into my deck in Anki, but with the Import feature instead of the Update that does not work for whatever reason. I have like 200 duplicates now and I wonder how I can delete them in Anki. I can find them all with the "Find Duplicates..." but can't do anything beyond that. Any solution? All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - bertoni - 2011-05-18 I don't know how to do that. If the duplicates are all in one range of the file, you should be able to delete them from the browsing window. All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - Tori-kun - 2011-05-19 Damnd.. Like 14 days of hard work, I almost finished the deck back then, and then this computer crash messes up everything. @bertoni, this update feature really does not work. It just would not update the Note/Expression (markings in bold f.e.) in my deck that has progress. I just don't want to start from zero again -.- All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - zzzbra - 2011-06-11 What's the status on this now? No one's posted in a couple weeks. If possible, I'd be willing to help out. I don't mind manually entering in everything for the cards, it just means more studying for me. I think filling in the note field with grammar points is too good of an idea for it to not be applied to every last card. Please don't mess around there and keep the editoring-log as clean as possible for later investigations, if needed. @zzzbra: Mostly everything is done, except the beginning of the book or rather the sentence coming from the beginning have no notes yet. Will not be that much work prolly. I have started after my computer crash from zero and finished yesterday btw! (hurray, no messing around with particles any longer. well, はXが problem remains.. )Have fun working on it. I will update my deck as soon as the rest of the notes is entered. Cheers. All About Particles Anki deck (revision 2) - jishera - 2011-06-29 Cool! Didn't know this deck existed. Thanks for making it "prettier." As I go through my textbook I'll have to add these cards. I have the book too and it has been so helpful. |
