Less Comprehensible Input - blackbrich - 2011-04-28 I was wondering if there was anybody else that does this. Basically, I love when I start to understand more within a show, but at the same time I become dissapointed because I don't understand more. So I typically will listen to something very incomprehensible to me such as news so as there will be less pressure. Wondering if anyone else does it... Strange I know. Speaking of pressure, does anyone else feel it after being complimented on their Japanese? No need to beat yourself up about it, especially before you've actually made them. Your happy when you underrstand something new that you didn't know before, but then another word or phrase comes up that you don't know. The way I overcame this was, I just kept plugging in. I understood nothing in the beginning, then I worked my way up.
