I've been using Flashcards Deluxe (on an iPod Touch, mind). Like gFlashPro, you can import data from Google Docs spreadsheets.

E.g. here's a couple of decks I made (but to use them in Flashcards Deluxe you'd need to copy & paste the data into your own Google Spreadsheet).
Ateji (Government list. With intonation guide)
New Joyo Kanji (Words for the additional 196 kanji with intonation guide)

Probably NOT many. Does that mean Anki is the only option worth considering for every one on the planet? With that kind of thinking we wouldn't have iPads in the first place because, after all, Apple is evil and closed, and a desktop PC can do everything an iPad does.

Er, I meant that literally. I'm genuinely curious what other flashcard apps have that Anki doesn't; that way we can implement the best ones as plugins for the desktop version and suggest them to Mr. Elmes for the mobile version. For super radical changes, in the worst case scenario someone could fork Anki.

I haven't had the time/incentive to try any alternatives myself, but it seems others have (eg, gFlashPro was mentioned earlier).
