I have a set of questions that I would like people to answer. The more people who answer, the better.
By estimation, how many cards do you fail a day?
How many cards do you review a day on average?
When you fail a card, what do you about the card after failing it?
What are your fail card settings set at if different than the default?
Do you have leeching turned on in your SRS program, and if so, what is it set at?
How many new cards do you add per day on average?
How many cards do you end up failing make you go 'I totally knew that one!' or smack yourself on the forehead for not getting it? (You know, the 'Doh!' cards.)
I know it's a good chunk of questions, but your input is greatly appreciated. I'll let you all know why I'm asking in a few days or so.
This goes without saying but, please keep your answers as honest as possible. (Don't be shy, no one's gonna judge you about your SRSing.)

Warning: I've been screwing with my SRSing, so it's changing a lot.
By estimation, how many cards do you fail a day? Depends on the deck. Grammar - 1-5, maybe. Vocab? With about 100 reviews + 20 new cards, I fail...oh, at least 50 of them, if not more. KO2001 - right now I fail about 10 cards normally. It'll get worse once I stop with vocab I know. I added a bunch of new stuff and so fair have failed 20-30 cards.
How many cards do you review a day on average? I have (lately) about 200 or so due every day. I do 300-400 reps.
When you fail a card, what do you about the card after failing it? Let it cycle through and hopefully remember it when I see it again.
What are your fail card settings set at if different than the default? I have "custom failed cards" where I see them early. I think, anyways - I still don't understand some aspects of Anki.
Do you have leeching turned on in your SRS program, and if so, what is it set at? Nope. I don't suspend anything, because eventually it will stick.
How many new cards do you add per day on average? Total? 30-50 cards at a minimum. 10 vocab, 20 KO2001, and then 10-20 grammar.
How many cards do you end up failing make you go 'I totally knew that one!' or smack yourself on the forehead for not getting it? (You know, the 'Doh!' cards.) About a quarter of my failed cards - I still fail the card anyways, even if it's a "DOH!" moment.
