I want to make mkv movie files from these dvds with Japanese Subtitles. Does anyone know a way to do this? Im willing to buy software. Thanks! I usually make mkvs with Japanese and English audio and subtitles. You can then choose which one you want in vlc. This is with the data from Japanese dvds, not adding subtitles from some other source. Do mkv files even support menus? If you go with handbrake you also have to download and install VLC (which everybody with a computer should do anyway) as it is what handbrake uses to access encrypted DVDs.
