List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - juniperpansy - 2011-01-23 Sub2srs is AWESOME! (thanks cb4!) But I'm having a lot of trouble finding TV shows and movies that work well with it. Even finding a program that has both Japanese and English subtitles that I like can be quite challenging. The purpose of this thread is to list the shows that work well with subs2srs and those that don't. Disclaimer: since there are many different subtitles with different timings for the same media, experience may vary. Works well (assumed have both English and Japanese subtitles unless otherwise stated) _________________________________________________________________________ ohitorisama Mioka (can use a half second or so of padding) Code Blue (at least the first episode does) Keizoku: Spec Doesn't work well _________________________________________________________________________ Innocent Love Please post your results as well I will update this post with them ![]() Thanks! ps. premade decks here http://rtkwiki.koohii.com/wiki/Subs2srs#Shared_decks http://learnanylanguage.wikia.com/wiki/Sub2srs_decks List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - howtwosavealif3 - 2011-01-23 there's more decks on this one: http://learnanylanguage.wikia.com/wiki/Sub2srs_decks List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - astendra - 2011-01-23 What do you mean by work well? It seems to me to be entirely dependant on the material available for the show in question. As long as you manage to find accurate subtitles in Japanese, or both languages where at least one is properly timed, I can't imagine why a show would be considered inherently unsuitable for subs2srs. Its been added! :-) List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - juniperpansy - 2011-03-28 Mioka added Originally when I put out this thread, I thought it was a very good idea. I still do, but it seems no one else is interested... Can you guys tell me why? Like add more information or something? Anyways, let me know
List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - keys84 - 2011-03-28 Is it not possible to change the timing slightly with subs2srs?? i think i remember him doing this in the demo video i haven't actually used the program yet though, so probably wrong List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - howtwosavealif3 - 2011-03-28 I DON'T agree with this thread b.c. you should be watching dramas you actually LIKE . NOT settling on some drama you don't like that much JUST BECAUSE it works well with sub2srs. I know from experience... basically it's not worth it since youcould be spending x hours on something you actually like and learn just as much if not more. you can like shift the timing of the subs if it doesn't match perfectly and if you can't find japanese there's korean subs (which translate to japanese pretty well ((or at least good enough)) in google translate) http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?pid=117636#pid117636 List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - Splatted - 2011-04-23 Code Blue has properly timed Eng and Jap subs for at least the first episode on drama addicts. The later episodes also have subs available, but I haven't tried them. List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - atreya - 2011-04-23 Half of the decks don't even exist anymore ![]() Is is possible for someone to re-upload whatever decks they have? List of subs2srs friendly TV shows and movies - PensukeD - 2011-04-24 Oh we can just post ones that we know can work. Keizoku: Spec has both Jap and Eng subtitles and they're timed pretty well from what I've seen. |
