Help for those dreaming of studying in Japan - Howdoken - 2011-01-16 Hi I've been aiming to study Japanese in Japan for at least a year now. Last November I finally started searching online for a school to apply to. I didn't know of any method other than to type 'japanese language schools' into Google. Ultimately this lead me to a random selection of websites that looked like they were built a decade ago. I found it even more difficult to find any genuine impressions of these schools from their students or alumni. At the point I began to despair I'd have to go for the safest option (a school I had a friend at), rather than the school that was right for me, I chanced upon a website called Go! Go! Nihon (http://gogonihon.com) This site featured video of certain schools its creators had found and were impressed by, interviewing teachers and students and giving one a feel for exactly what the school has to offer. I immediately got in contact with Davide, it's creator, and with the information I supplied he recommended me a school to fit my requirements. Once the decision was made, he helped me through the entire application process, acting as a go-between with the school and enabling me to meet the deadline just in time. And the craziest thing was, the entire service was FREE! Thanks to this website I'm off in April to realize my dreams of studying abroad. I know there any many in this forum harboring the same dream and I felt compelled to share this amazing resource with you. Good luck with your studies and I hope it helps! |
