When you seed you get seed points, and you can convert those into invites. I think they used to give some when you joined or during special events but not any more.

I see. This is probably the reason why I have no invite points as I've dled only a couple subtitle files I couldn't find on d-addicts and shut down my bittorrent program right after.
I am on the hunt for a new drama series so I have plans to DL there in the near future. Perhaps then I will have better luck
