Are you going to be active and adhere to the rules? I only say this because I gave out 2 invites in the past on here, and those users used the website for a few things, and haven't touched it in 4 months.

If you only want it for an album or two.. google is your friend.

There wasn't any rule about having to be currently active, or you could interpret "active" to mean someone who has more than a few posts, but I guess I could start posting here again.

I'm not just looking for an album or two. I'm seeding a lot of kpop and Japanese music torrents at rutracker.

I didn't mean on this forum, I meant actively using the torrent site. There's no point giving it to someone if they only want to download 1 or 2 albums.

Hi lauri, I don't know if you read this forum or not, but please start seeding more.

As you know, inviting users who don't abide by rules, or seed, results in me not being able to get invites. ( At some point. )

You ratio has been VERY low and it's .12 right now.

Also just a heads up - if anyone wants to invite this person - I'd advise against it.

What does rutracker have to do with anything? We might have to add even more to the rules, that you must keep a good ratio, though that should go without saying. It'd be a bit ironic to do that considering the 'innocent' discussion that occurred on the book club the other day. This is not a torrent membership exchange website, so consider this thread as a kind of service. After all, it is the only real way to get most of that content outside of Japan unless you are some masochist who can tolerate a streaming site for more than 2 minutes.

It's been mentioned before here, but AT is one of the easiest sites to keep a good ratio. You get points that transfer to ratio credits just for leaving your torrent client program open with one torrent seeding (meaning even if no one leeches off you, it still helps your ratio).
And the front page displays the current Freeleech torrents; Download whatever freeleech torrent has the most leechers and just leave utorrent running when you're on private wifi. It's really not hard, and a point .12 ratio is easy to crawl back from if you haven't downloaded much. rant over.

Can't help you with good torrent sites (because I personally don't use any) but just a word of warning, the sites that require a premium account are almost all fake and I would avoid anything that asks you to pay--seriously.

Hello Koohii denizens.

If it's not too much of a bother I wouldn't mind having an invite sent my way. I'm trying to get into dramas but d-addicts really isn't user friendly, and dramas are too big for my laptop/connexion anyway so the closest next live action substitute is J-movies, and from what I understood Asia Torrents has a lot of those.

I have one question though, when you download movies from there how easy is it to find J-subs for them? If the answer is "it's very hard" I guess I'm not really interested in an invite then.

Depends on the uploader for JP subs. There is one guy who always attached JP subs to his movies. They also have dramas there. By the way, why are movies better downloads than dramas for your laptop/connection? How does that make sense? Movies are generally longer and sometimes much larger in terms of file size depending on the quality.

Well for me a typical movie format is 700 Mb, for one hour and a half (I'm obviously not interested in high resolution) , and for drama it seems to be around 1 Gb for 50 minutes, it's about a 1 to 3 ratio. This is why I stuck with anime for so long, where it's possible to find batches of about 80 hours of content for 12 Gb. Start comparing this to drama and you go mental.

Lots of people upload dramas at 480p which comes to 400MB for most. You just have to look.
