Japanese Christmas songs? - domokun1134 - 2010-12-02 Tis the season, so I was wondering if there were any specifically Japanese christmas albums/songs out there? Maybe even be common Christmas classics (Santa Claus is coming to town, etc.) with Japanese lyrics. In fact I think that would be even more fun.
Japanese Christmas songs? - JimmySeal - 2010-12-02 Jingle Bells http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q1413979099 あわてんぼうのサンタクロース (I think this is a Japanese original) http://www.mahoroba.ne.jp/~gonbe007/hog/shouka/awatenbosanta.html (embedded MIDI horror! beware!) Silent Night http://www.ylw.mmtr.or.jp/~johnkoji/hymn/xmas/Holynit-j.html I think these are probably the three most popular. The Youtube related links should help you find a bunch of others. Now let's see how many replies you can get before Tzadeck comes in to helpfully denounce religion for you.
Japanese Christmas songs? - Aijin - 2010-12-02 Yes, there are tons I'm not sure they're popular enough to find on torrents or anything though. I have a few hundred (including all the classics) but it's on my currently deceased desktop ![]() There's a thread already devoted to Christmas-related media, too, here: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?pid=121019#pid121019 Japanese Christmas songs? - Zarxrax - 2010-12-02 I remember back in the late 90s I had downloaded some sailor moon christmas cds. You might still be able to find torrents or something, since I guess sailor moon is still fairly popular. Here is info on them (songs are in japanese) http://sailormusic.net/tracks/Christmas_For_You.html http://sailormusic.net/tracks/Merry_Christmas.html Edit: oh what do you know, that site has the downloads too, I didn't even realize that. EDIT:It looks like Zarxrax's links have lyrics and are very complete, I should have looked at them before posting. ^_^; Japanese Christmas songs? - domokun1134 - 2010-12-02 You guys are awesome. Was just looking for something fun to listen to, and possible something to make my friends/family cock their heads in confusion. Japanese Christmas songs? - Bokusenou - 2010-12-02 No prob. ^-^ Confusing friends and family with your music is always fun. I'll post one more I guess. Last Christmas by EXILE with lyrics, though I like the one Yuuji Oda did better, but that's in English...It's weird, I never would have heard of the song if it weren't for jpop, and now it's one of my favorite Christmas songs.^-^ There are also a lot of Christmas themed jpop songs which aren't covers of anything, that you might want to look into. |
