I had no idea till I saw the video that there were many stock movements and suchlike. I guess someone developed this 'vocabulary' to showcase animation levels... I'd like to see a similar compilation but for 'tropes' within the show itself.

Maybe there's some background repetition as referenced in Bakuman.

Yeah, my first thought was that there is a LOT that could be learned from that compilation, if someone wanted to be an animator.

Also, I watch too much anime, I guess. I recognized far too many of those from 1/2 second clips. Big Grin

running, running, turning, nudity, poignant gazing in unusual locations, people landing on other people, walking, sword fighting, fanservice, walking, weird modes of transportation, space robots, cute girls crying, coloured specks getting blown around, touching hands, non-touching hands, holding out hands, flocks of birds, pairs of similar looking people... fade.
