Your employer should be helping you with this. Why don't you ask them what you should be doing? Or call immigration directly? All you are going to get here is a bunch of educated guesses as I'm sure there aren't going to be many people from non-English speaking countries with American fathers whose education has all been in Spanish and have a degree in engineering and want to work at a juku as an English teacher. Even if you got advise, here, i would be cautious of relying on it in case it was wrong. You need to go directly to the folks on charge.

Well, do you know how Venezuelan immigration laws work? You need to talk to a lawyer. really. They are the ones who interpret them. We have no idea. But in general, I find Japanese visa policy for English teachers is rather lax. Not many people are complaining about it (while a lot of people are complaining about the process for getting the nationality) so calm down. It'll be OK. The most difficult part is to find a company that sponsors your visa and you're past that.
