New Kanzen Master books for N1 and N2 - julianjalapeno - 2010-10-17
This is just a heads-up that the popular Kanzen Master series is releasing updated versions of all of their books to match the revamped JLPT.
I was at the store yesterday and spotted the new N1 Kanji book and there were some changes from the hot pink one that I have, most notably in the test sections. I couldn`t find any new kanji in there but I just gave it a quick scan. I don`t think its different enough that it warrants a purchase if you already have the old one, but those that dont may want to pick it up.
Updated versions of the grammar, reading, and vocabulary editions will be out sometime next year. I`m hoping they really change the vocab one since I found it to be the weakest of the series.
Also of note is a listening book which is completely new.

Thanks for the heads-up. I found the publisher's Twitter account and asked when the N1 grammar and reading books will be published, but they didn't give any further info. They just said they will announce as soon as it's decided:

The new Kanzen Master listening book for N1 is out now and its pretty boss. Probably the best book for the 聴解 section that I`ve used so far and its the cheapest at 1600 yen. Recommended!
