平年（へいねん）より６日（むいか）、昨年（さくねん）より１２日早（にちはや）い冠雪（かんせつ）です。
Instinct tells me to read that as じゅうににち, but I can't remember if any dates besides 1-10 and 20 get a different reading.

Wait a second. Oh, I see. They do not read the number for you unless it is irregular, such as むいか. Duhh.

Just FYI, but dates that end in 4 are also irregular: じゅうよっか、にじゅうよっか
