I didn't realize that there's a pretty good amount of books in Japanese being sold on the U.S. Amazon site for reasonable prices (starting at a penny). There's some decent stuff up there. I've been coming across a lot of mysteries, self-help books (which can be pretty straight-forward and easy to read in a second language), and of course, lots of manga. There are quite a few books translated from English, so you may be able to find books you've read in English (makes it easier for reading in Japanese
)Keep in mind that even if you go through the same sellers, you still have to pay shipping per individual book. But compare that to getting books off amazon.jp for $15.00 shipping per book (if you live in the U.S).
