Looking For A New Hoodie. - TheVinster - 2010-09-03 Alright guys, every fall/winter I wear a hoodie. I wear it almost everyday. My previous hoodie has been used for 2 successive years, however, and I need a new one. My first question is a bit more direct and depends on if you listen to Japanese bands. That question would be if anybody knows where I can get an HY hoodie? HY is my favorite Japanese band, and I really want a hoodie but I know they're not that excessive with their merchandising. Maybe just at concerts? My second question is more open in asking if you can recommend me any websites to look for hoodies. As to my taste... previous hoodie was the Calvin & Hobbes one where Hobbes is eating Calvin. It got a look of looks, which I like. It doesn't say Calvin & Hobbes, but people who know it get it. I'm a gamer, I like Japanese stuff (but not anime/manga/Domo/stupid "quirky Japan" bullshit), and whatever else. Help me out guys, it's 63F today which means Autumn is starting to set in. I need a hoodie. P.S. I do prefer traditional hoodies, the pull-over kind and not the zip-ups. Looking For A New Hoodie. - nest0r - 2010-09-03 When I want a design for a specific article of clothing such as what you mean, I generally find some site to design my own. For δΈ™, maybe my story new story will be: When one person wears a hoodie, he looks third-class.
Looking For A New Hoodie. - TaylorSan - 2010-09-04 Not sure if this is up your alley, but my friend Wu can make some sweet hoodies (I'm about to order one myself). He lives in Portland Oregon and has his own company called "Rhythm Rhino". His stuff is influenced by graffiti/street art styles, and dj/hip hop/music culture. If you like some of what he has, he might make you something really nice and original. He has a little web site that shows some of the designs, but the online store is pretty small and I don't think he has hoodies. But if you are interested, I think he could make you something custom. His site is http://rhythmrhino.com/index.html I started a small company with him called "Create Clothing" a few years back, before I moved out to Colorado. We used to make hoodies with prints on the side of the hood, on the sleeves, etc. I loved doing that, as I always had something no one else had. PM me if you are interested. |
