Try the other dictionaries on WWWJDIC. Particularly the Life Sciences/Bio-med one. The Translate Words tool searches more dictionaries (all of them?) and often comes up with the goods.

Edit: Oh, and for an IME, try google's one. It's waay better at getting obscure words than the default Windows one.
