Trophies for Anki. - rcloud - 2010-08-03 Rekkusu Wrote:Meh this kinda suxx if you only have lots of small decksIf you have a lot of small decks for one subject, such as Japanese, I'd really suggest you merge them into one. When I first started using Anki (for Chinese) I kept my textbook, food vocab and Heisig decks all separate. When I finally merged them, due to other's urging, I realized it was one of the best things I've decided to do with Anki. It's amazing how much a crutch working with only certain areas of a language can be and I've found since I've merged them my real-world production and recognition have improved greatly. Trophies for Anki. - idjello - 2010-08-03 what is decks and what is anki? Trophies for Anki. - rcloud - 2010-08-03 Anki is spaced repetition software and decks are just decks of flashcards in Anki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_repetition http://ichi2.net/anki/ Trophies for Anki. - jpkuelho - 2010-08-04 How do I access my trophies on this site ? I tried using my anki user name but got none (even thou I got trophies when doing reps) Trophies for Anki. - rcloud - 2010-08-04 At the bottom of your trophies in Anki there is a link to register your trophies with the site. Trophies for Anki. - oregum - 2010-08-04 My only complaint is there are not enough trophies, not to mention a lack of RtK/Japango related ones. Trophies for Anki. - trusmis - 2010-08-23 So I loved this trophies plugin but found it was not exactly what I wanted. I started hacking on it and what I got right now is a very different beast: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_MvV3Nj49Ias/THKtGaLK_gI/AAAAAAAA-Ow/asSSxgEv6UQ/s400/anki.jpg You set a time, for instance, this image is my main deck: 30 minutes. This is what you want to study everyday (for me this is better than reps or other metrics). I studied this deck a lot months ago, then stopped and then I study it again now. So I managed to study more than 30 minutes today and over that average last 2 weeks but couldn't on 1 month time. If today studied only 6 minutes more I could get the average over a month also! Maybe is stupid but kind of encourage to just continue some minutes more. Also, it displays encouraging messages when you finish 35% , 75% and 100% of your time alloted for that deck that day. Also after that, every 20% extra you study it display some message encouraging for more. I am still changing it a lot so don't dare to upload it yet but I accept feature requests ![]() I don't even know how to name it, and surely there is something better than "rock" Trophies for Anki. - avidrucker - 2012-01-18 hey, is anyone still using this plugin?
