Hi All
I'm looking to compile a list of Japanese school and staff room kanji, to give to new JET program participants coming in August. Does anyone know where I could find such a list?
I'm looking for the kanji, their pronunciations, and their meanings. This is not in any way meant to be an exhaustive kanji lesson, just a reference so that they can look up things if / when they feel lost at school.
Feel free to post some words in reply to this as well! I'll take as many as I can get

AJET publishes a book called the Kanji Survival Guide that they sell to new JETs at Tokyo orientation. It has everything you are looking for.
