Please help my J-Language learning preparation - InTransition - 2010-07-05 -3-5 months to complete RTK #1 -then I will restart Genki textbook #1 -then I will go on to study with native speakers, Japanese audio, etc. * I've been to Japan about 4 times, so I'm alright as far as pronunciation goes. I've just shut off my Japanese language learning side of the brain. Now, I am ready to turn it back on. I will do the RTK first though, which is not necessarily Japanese, and more about learning pictures. *Any opinion or advice on this? I would appreciate it. Thanks. Please help my J-Language learning preparation - Blahah - 2010-07-05 Are you gonna be doing any immersion activities? Listening to J-music, watching anime etc? You could start Genki alongside RTK and you will find your progress more encouraging - plus at the end of both you will be quite well placed to move on to Core2000 or something similar. Please help my J-Language learning preparation - InTransition - 2010-07-05 Thank You for your response. I think I may just focus on the RTK by itself though before everything else. I have other things in my life taking up my time and space, so I think that I will pace myself. Please help my J-Language learning preparation - nohika - 2010-07-05 If that's the case you may want to look at Nukemarine's guide - it's set up for people with only an hour or two to spare during the day.
