(ebooks, ianki, itouch 4G) - zachandhobbes - 2011-02-10 Question about this: When I do RtK reps (not on vocab yet), I write the Kanji down before I push the answer button. Do you guys not do that? Or when you are using your portable devices you just skip it? Doing reps on the go. Worth the money? If this isn't accessible at a given opportunity I just review my other decks instead, or if they're finished, trace the kanji in the air or on a random surface.

If I didn't already have a notebook and a half filled with kanji from doing this I'd probably just use the android and write on there, and in fact i might start doing that soon anyways, it's just so much more convenient ![]() I usually do my sentence reviews mobile now though at least

Doing reps on the go. Worth the money? (ebooks, ianki, itouch 4G) - Tykkylumi - 2011-02-11 It's built into the anki app, though I guess you could have 2 apps open, but it'd be fiddly. I really only want to use anki on the go (with audio, if possible), so paying that much seems a little wasteful..If all you want is Anki on the go, look for a used 1G iPhone/iTouch. (Or a used Android device would probably do too.) An old iPhone works fine as a clunky iPod Touch. No reason to have a fast device with a good screen and a lot of space. Doing reps on the go. By the way..do you know how to make the Freda's dictionary work? I don't understand in which format the dict file should be! it supports a strange thing named slovodict or something! But there are no japanese dictionaries. And I don't understand what kind of a format it wants. Now about mission 3... Is here anyone who has got ankiMINI working on a pocket pc? Doing reps on the go. Worth the money? (ebooks, ianki, itouch 4G) - Rina - 2011-05-21 I have ankidroid on my htc hero, and started using it yesterday. However, the cards in anki droid appear within less time than in my computer. For example, I studied in both devices yesterday (same reviews, same new cards), and for today in my computer I had around 150 reviews whereas in my droid I had around 230. Is there anyway to put them "equal"? It would be so great and sooo useful. Oh and btw, is there anyway to put audio working in ankidroid? I have some cards with audio. Thank you. |
