Getting audio from smart.fm - cjane - 2010-06-08
Does anyone know if there is a way of getting Japanese audio files from the smart.fm website? I'm making a vocab/sentences Anki deck and would like to incorporate audio files. The smart.fm site has a good collection of audio clips and I can create a 'deck' on their website using their 'create item' screen, search for the vocab and sentences then copy/save the audio .mp3 file to my laptop. Just wondering if there's an easier way of getting them?

Make a smart.fm list of all the things you want.
Use Anki's smart.fm importer.
The only problem is that it'll have garbled filenames -- but if you're going to make a deck anyway, it doesn't really matter.
