Does anyone know what is covered in the Intermediate Grammar dictionary of JLPT 1 and 2. I hear somewhere it covers a lot of JLPT2, but does it cover it all?, how about JLPT1?

You will need the advanced dictionary for much of jlpt1 and some of jlpt2 (around 3 points or so iirc).

Yeah, Im just am around half way through the intermediate and I am just wondering where I was JLPT wise, so all of JLPT1 is covered if I include the advanced dictionary?

I'm currently going through the N2/JLPT2 grammar. I have all 3 grammar dics (basic, intermediate, advanced) and although I didn't count I'm pretty sure that I had to use the advanced one the most for further information. Most grammar points of JLPT2 were in the advanced one, then intermediate. But like I said, I didn't count, might as well be 50:50.
If you don't have so much time, I'd say get the Kanzen grammar book for 2kyuu and study the points in there. Same for 1kyuu. You can always go through the dics later on to cover points you haven't learned yet (but that you won't need for the test.)

i've been in the middle of the Intermediate as well... hopefully i'll complete all of them within the next couple of months, glad to know JLPT 1 is included in here too. My grammar comprehension has improved tremendously since working through these books

I think I have some time though, I will keep powering through until I finish the advanced. So after the advanced I would have covered all JLPT1 grammar? Does anyone know if that's the case?

Like Jarvik7 said, Intermediate covers most of JLPT2. And yes, if you go though all of the books from basic to advanced, you will have covered JLPT1 grammar, that series is very comprehensive.

It's certainly enough to pass. There are however a dozen or so grammar points listed in the old JLPT specification book that are not covered in the JT grammar series.

There were a few JLPT1 grammar points that weren't in the Dictionary of.. series, but they were basically just combinations of two other points.
